About the Author Avis D. Brownlee-Wooley is a native of Georgia. She is ambitious and driven to be her best in all things; especially when it comes to the things of God and her reputation.
She is married to the handsome Stanley James Wooley and has been for 32 years. Together they have one daughter and one granddaughter.
Avis grew up in a household of 13 living children. Though there were more than thirteen, these were the only survivors children. Her parents were Christians and she along with her other siblings were raised in a Christian environment.
She is no stranger to hard work. This she learned at an early age. She had a solid foundation laid out by her parents of making salvation a top priority in their lives, having great work ethics, be given into hospitality, achieve a higher education and most of all be faithful to the things committed to your trust.
Avis has always been involved in church related matters such as: singing, playing musical instruments (piano, guitar, organ), teaching sunday school, youth secretary and a few other responsibilities. All of these actions were strongly supported by a devout mother who cared about her children and their future.
Upon graduating from high school Avis attend Brunswick Junior College and received her Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology. After graduating she worked at the local Hospital and a year later moved to Atlanta Georgia to complete her study.
Her working career spans some 36 years in the Medical Field. She has worked in hospitals, doctors offices, CDC, R & D and currently as a Medical Scientist in Hematology. She is back in school receiving her B.A. degree in Medical Technology graduating next year......Thank God For All Blessings.
However, her musical career is much longer, dating back into the 1970"s. She came from a musically talent family and it resonated aloud through her local community (where she grew up) and it followed her into her adult life.
Together, she and her husband pastor the Witness Protection Ministries, Inc. (formerly Atlanta Praise & Worship Center) in Conyers, Georgia. She and Pastor Stanley are concerned about the condition of the people and constantly seek God for the directions they must take in order to minister to God's people.
Avis is excited about where God is taking her ministry. She is open and ready to move into the next phase of her life. She realizes that Jesus is Coming Soon and the most important item on her agenda is to be ready when He calls His people home.
